Charcuterie Class and Wine Pairing Dinner

About the event
This is going to be an AWESOME experience for the foodies out there! In this class/experience we are going all out!
We will start by learning how to create the perfect Charcuterie board. The experts in hospitality say there is a science behind it and we are excited to explore that with you! What is Charcuterie? Well, the term Charcuterie simply means "cooked cold meat". But many people consider a Charcuterie board to also include a variety of cheese, fruits, veggies, nuts, spreads, olives, dipping oils, fresh herbs, crackers, bread, and even chocolate! We will be making our very own Charcuterie boards and walk you through how to design an impressive spread for your guests. Martha Stewart, watch out!! Included in the price to take home with you is: a wooden cutting board, a cheese spreader, cheese knife serving set, mini tongs, small bowls for spreads, paring knife, cheese flag labels, and....yes... you will create your own board loaded with all the goodness which you an either snack on throughout the night or we will wrap it and you can take it home to share with friends/family (or hide it from everyone...we won't tell!).
After our Charcuterie boards are beautifully designed, we will sample 5 wines (sample....umpf....you've seen me (Sara) sample wine) and learn simple tricks and tips on how to pair your Charcuterie items with the right wine and how wine truly does change and/or enhance the taste of food items. I'm confident my fellow "winos" out there will leave learning something new....if not about the wine....something about yourself or your fellow P.A.L.S.
Following wine tasting and Charcuterie nibbling, we will all sit and enjoy a family style pasta dinner including side dishes and a beverage (menu TBD). So, take it easy on your Charcuterie goodies and save room for dinner! And I know several of our P.A.L.S. have some serious "hostess with the mostest" skills...I've seen it firshand....so, if anything, come show off your talent and get some great photos and food! But, I cannot be held responsible if the party is always at your house after those photos go public!
Price includes tax and service. Must RSVP and pay online by July 11th. We may not be able to accommodate walk-ins or requests after the 11th due to obtaining supplies in time. We will post on Facebook if there are any cancellations or last-minute openings. If needing to cancel, the class is (unfortunately) non-refundable unless we can resell your spot which we will try to do for you. Must RSVP online. Pla-Mor staff cannot make reservations at the restaurant or take class payments. However, they can assist you register online if assistance is needed.
